foxwxl Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 It's strange that RQ-1A do not fire AGM114 in my mission, I have setup WP and TARGETING point ,loadout AGM114, they just don't fire .The task type has been change through AFAC and GROUND ATTACK, nothing diffierent. When pilot skill is Excellent, the RQ-1A just circle at certain position away from target at about 1.5KM. If the pilot skill is good or average , the RQ-1A will fly directly above the target again and again. Any one knows about this? Deka Ironwork Tester Team
h00t74 Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 I can confirm the same problem. Tried to set target directly on top of T-55 and no joy on Firing the missle. Any knowledge of this ED??
Case Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 I can confirm the weird circles the Predator flies in some situations, but I did manage to make it fire a Hellfire on at least one occasion. This needs to be looked at more to figure out why it happens. There are only 10 types of people in the world: Those who understand binary, and those who don't.
BrumTx Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 No weapons showing up on mine how do we "activate" it please Remember the 346 Fire Fighters, Medics & Police who died on 9-11....... Selective memory is a wonderful thing, especially when certain posts simply disappear into the ether never to be seen again, unless I have a copy of the original post copied and pasted into word documents and saved .... just in case :) Am I an abusive idiot ? Due to physical incapacity my Wife types my post's for me

zakobi Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 Have you set correct ASR? (Altitude Speed Range) Not that i know of there is any, but still...
BrumTx Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 Now I've found I can load out, I have tried various different missions and all have the same fault, flies around gaining height (no matter if already set) then flies home with weapons intact. Hopefully ED can help, I've gone through all documents and they don't help Remember the 346 Fire Fighters, Medics & Police who died on 9-11....... Case Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 Any luck to repeat that again? No luck so far. I have no clue what might be the cause if all this, but I'll continue my investigations. There are only 10 types of people in the world: Those who understand binary, and those who don't.
Case Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 Success! Here's a mission in which a Predator destroys two BTR-80's with Hellfires. I have no clue why it works, but here are some of the mission parameters: 1000m altitude at attack waypoint 10m attack circle around ground vehicle ground vehicle as target category one target circle per unit one attack waypoint per target circle tasked with ground attack average pilot skill rq1a.rar There are only 10 types of people in the world: Those who understand binary, and those who don't.
BrumTx Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 @ 51 Case: Flown the mission 6 times and it will not drop any weapons, I flew it that many times because I think the 'rotation' of things happening changes every fourth or fifth mission. Thanks for trying anyways Remember the 346 Fire Fighters, Medics & Police who died on 9-11....... Case Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 (edited) My bad, I uploaded the wrong file. Here's the right one.rq1a.rar Edited May 3, 2010 by Case There are only 10 types of people in the world: Those who understand binary, and those who don't.
Case Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 I found out some interesting things. Skill is important: only with 'average' or 'good' skill will it fire Distance is important: within 10km it will fire Altitude is important: around 1000m altitude it will fire Whenever I placed the skill to 'high' or 'excellent', the Predator would go in its climbing circle. If placed too far from the target too attack, further than about 10km, it would proceed to the next waypoint. If placed too high it would extend and decend to 2737m altitude to turn back it, but it wouldn't fire.
