lennycutler Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 In the editor I select Russian planes for a transport or Recon mission. I select four units....four pilots. The editor reflects my choices but in the mission only one plane shows up. Is this a bug? Velocity MicroI7-4790 Windows 7 Home Premium 16Gigs RAM EVGA NVIDIA GTX 1070 500GB SSD TM Hotas Warthog
104th_Crunch Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 (edited) I have had similar experiences when setting more than 1 AI pilot in a group. Often only the first of the group is shown in mission and no one else. Looks like a bug. In particular I recall making a 4 ship of B-52s but only the first one would show. Lennycutler, post a mission file if you can please. I will try to recreate it as well. edit: seems I am able to reproduce this with B-52s. Lennycutler, what AI are you using? Panzertard Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 With these large bombers, yes, it's like that even in DCS:BS. I've always assumed it was a feature - due to the aircraft class. The mind is like a parachute. It only works when it's open | The important thing is not to stop questioning
lennycutler Posted April 27, 2010 Author Posted April 27, 2010 I tried it with any of the transports...you can't have more than one. You can have other types which will take off after each other, but not the same type of AC. Velocity MicroI7-4790 Windows 7 Home Premium 16Gigs RAM EVGA NVIDIA GTX 1070 500GB SSD TM Hotas Warthog
Spades_Neil Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 This is actually intentional I believe. Silly, but intentional. You cannot have multiple units for some aircraft. I asked about this once before on the forums here and someone from ED said it was supposed to be like that. Of course, if you have fighters doing this... that's an issue.
