Stormbringer Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 hi folks got a problem with the game all aircraft apart from f15 see my ms sidewinder 2 slider as throttle , f 15 works great push slider forward and it accelerates , throttle back and it slows down , every other plane doesnt do anything with slider ?
Snacko Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 Have you tried looking at the game options to assign your throttle? Click Options and then the Controllers tab. In the combo listbox select the aircraft you want, and in the other one select the Axis. Then you can see your contollers and assign their axis to the game axis you want. Stormbringer Posted May 9, 2010 Author Posted May 9, 2010 thx mate that worked , i didnt realise you had to do it for every plane tho
Snacko Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 Yes, that is annoying to have to repeat most of your same joystick and throttle assignments 7 times. And it allows you to save a profile though... But also beware, this also works strangely. When you Click the button to save your profile, you are not saving the entire profile, so don't think you have it all saved and your controller assignments are backed up. They are not! I made that mistake and had to manually reassign them all next time I reinstalled the game. Even though I made a backup.. Arrrg! Each time you save your profile, it is only for the currently selected controller (defined by the active controller/axis/device cell selected in that grid table). And only for the currently selected aircraft. So, if you want to backup your joystick/throttle; pedals; and TrackIR, that is 3 controllers X 7 aircraft. So, you need to Save 21 profiles and back them up. So, get busy! ;-) Snack Officer Intel I9-10850K (OC @ 5.0ghz) │ 64GB (4x16GB) DDR4 3200 │Gigabyte RTX 4090 Gaming OC 24gb - ҉ - Blackshark Cockpit Trainer - ҉ - ♣ Thread | ♥ Download
