sweinhart3 Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 It seems that FC2 doesnt have clickable cockpits. So why is there a mouse option L-alt-C for clickable cockpits? Intel i7 990X, 6GB DDR3, Nvidia GTX 470 x2 SLI, Win 7 x64 http://picasaweb.google.com/sweinhart
Panzertard Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 It's a feature inherited from the DCS series, where you have clickable cockpits. And a nice thing to use if you record tracks, to use the yellow marked to indicate what you are looking at. The mind is like a parachute. It only works when it's open | The important thing is not to stop questioning
Aeroscout Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 I heard somewhere that there is enough leftover from DCS to implement clickable 3D cockpits. However, these have their own downsides (no HUD, MFDs, etc). I'm still waiting patiently for ED to release the third-party 6DOF cockpit tools. Thanks for the in-cockpit mouse pointer key-stroke. I often let new people fly in the cockpit while I watch on a different monitor. This will make it easier to point things out to them :) DCS Wishlist: 1) FIX THE DAMN RIVERS!!! 2) Spherical or cylindrical panorama view projection. 3) Enhanced input options (action upon button release, etc). 4) Aircraft flight parameter dump upon exit (stick posn, attitude, rates, accel, control volume, control-surface positions, SAS bias, etc). 5) ADS-33 maneuver courses as static objects. 6) Exposed API or exports of trim position and stick force for custom controllers. 7) Select auto multiple audio devices
