I have just created a basic mission and placed 1 A10 at an airfield. I saved it and ran it. When the mission runs the A10 taxies, takes off, flies out about 10 miles, returns and lands automatically. My keyboard and HOTAS are locked out with only a few view keys working. I have tried everything to regain control but nothing works. Can anyone help with a fix?

I have a similar problem using a Logitech G-15 board,in game all the top row of keys from Esc to Pause/break don`t work.Outside the sim they are ok and also when I key press in the key control set up they are working. Only since the patch though.

I think you have placed an AI flight and you can't fly it.

It's not the same as a track (mission + lost of inputs recorded that the simulator repeats), in tracks you can take control (from the moment you take it, the inputs are the ones you do).

The fact the A-10 works by itself probably means you have set AI control of it. For single-player missions you want to set the "Skill" field to "Player". This will allow you to fly the aircraft.

For multi-player missions you want to set the Skill to "Client".

AI levels are anything other Skill values: Random, Regular, Good, Excellent etc.

I have a similar problem. On the keyboard (Logitech wireless) the Function keys are disabled (F1-F12). It seems however a Windows7 problem, because also other programs do not detect the Function keys anymore. I tried with two different keyboards. Logitech helpdesk claims it is related to the FC2.0.
