BBQ Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 I've set up my cougar axis as suggested in the 1.1 readme--and having a lot of fun flying the AFM on the frog--there is no insensitivity on the stick--very little input is needed for pitch and roll--but when autopilot is engaged, it flies absolutely perfect--not a single bump left or right, up or down. I wonder if I'm supposed to be able to fly this straight--which would seem impossible with my current setup. I can achieve absolute straight flight--but after a second or two--invariably it rolls to the left or right--or pitches up or down. To a certain degree (I'm getting better) I'm tossing about quite a bit--I thought due to wind and other external forces--but the autopilot doesn't seem to be affected. Is this realistic--or simply how the autopilot works in the sim?
