coolts Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 I can't be doing with the hobbled game browser anymore and wanted something a bit more "up to date", so installed Hyperlobby, but it asks for the location of "lockon.exe", the old .exe (pre-FC2.0) Am I right in assuming that it doesn't work now and we must use the spartan multiplayer GUI / browser where I can’t even sort servers by player numbers, filter out locked servers, etc. It’s a little bit..... :music_whistling: The last few nights I have been itching for an online game and only found a few servers with more than 8-10 people on them [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] i7 9700k | 32gb DDR4 | Geforce 2080ti | TrackIR 5 | Rift S | HOTAS WARTHOG | CH PRO Pedals

Scudslaker Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 yes, i miss the hyperlobby feeling, too. the chatmenu, the player lists, a. s. o., but to be honest, i m afraid, that this implemented mulitplayer gui, doesn t allow any access by tools from the outside like our old hyperlobby. is anyone in contact with jiri? coolts Posted June 3, 2010 Author Posted June 3, 2010 (edited) Thats a real shame as the browser is hopeless really. the quake 1 browser was better. in 1996  hyperlobby 4.2.0 was released on the 20th may 2010 but no FC2.0 support http://hyperfighter.sk/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=2&orderby=dateA Its a bit of a shame that such a great games aguably best feature is marred by an unfriendly interface.
