MS Sidewinder Force Feedback II and throttle

How do you get the throttle to work and will it just be taking over the Num+ and Num- duties? Any other MS Sidewinder users? What is the better joystick to have nowadays after all the dust settles? I want a separate throttle for sure. :joystick:

Set throttles under Axis commands when you have a slider or throttle axis.

 

As for better stick... Depends on your budget. x52 is dirt cheap and has most of the functions you need. Step up the budget slightly more and you get the x52 pro - same functions but superior hardware, so it'll be a lot less likely to wear out or break under stress.

 

Above there you have the Logitech G940, though it has been suffering from wonky drivers. Saitek X65 is another option, though it has also been getting slightly mixed reviews. Coming soon at that price class will be a Warthog replica stick as well, that's the one I'm holding out for.

You are able to use MS Sidewinder FF 2 with Saitek X-52/PRO throttle.
