Rodney
Hi everyone I have whats considered now an aging computer: E6750 CPU, 9800GTX+ GPU, 4GB of RAM I don't know the general consensus whether it's advisable to turn off PhysX. I'll say this I can run Black Shark on HIGH settings with a 1280x1024 resolution and 4xAA and 4xAF and it's ultra smooth until I fly low and approach objects on the ground. Any thoughts?
Mnemonic
Black Shark don't use PhysX in any way, so you can turn it off. All physics in BS calculated by CPU.
Silent Warrior
*Prod* That should mean it doesn't make a bit of difference whether PhysX is turned on or not, shouldn't it? ;)
Waldo_II
If it isn't being used, you should turn it off; otherwise it will just sit there checking to see if it is needed, and that background process has a minor effect on performance.

That's what i'm wondering to. I'm going to do just that and see if it improves when flying low.
