shackman Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 (edited) I just wanna ask, I own the original LOMAC, and would like to know ever since buying it it has always been crashing sometimes, cause I use Vista 64. So I switched to compatibility mode with WIN 2000 and it is working better but still crashes. So will these crashes affect the performance of Flaming Cliffs 2 when installed? Since the original is the program the add on will run from? Or since FC 2 was designed for Vista it'll be stable? Edited June 21, 2010 by shackman [sIGPIC]http://www.vrsimulations.com/images/sigbanners/vrs_supporter.png[/sIGPIC]
nomdeplume Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 FC2 is a completely new engine - same one used for DCS: Black Shark - so it will be stable under Vista/Win7. The game is actually entirely separate, it just needs to check you have LOMAC installed because ED don't have the rights to release Lock On games, therefore FC2 must pretend to be an "addon".
shackman Posted June 21, 2010 Author Posted June 21, 2010 (edited) thanks for the help. Edited June 21, 2010 by shackman [sIGPIC]http://www.vrsimulations.com/images/sigbanners/vrs_supporter.png[/sIGPIC]
