DTWD Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 Hello, I have a (Tu33 I think) carrying 3 KH22n's and I can't get the AI to launch them. I have told it to attack buildings, point, been close to the target, far away from the target, whatever I try the AI just turns for the airbase he's to land at and ignores the launching. Any ideas? Case Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 I believe the Kh-22's are an antiship weapon only, and I have made missions where the Tu-22 launches them at ships. If you want cruise missiles to attack units on land, use a Tu-95 or Tu-160 armed with Kh-65's or a Su-24 or Su-34 with Kh-59's. DTWD Posted July 10, 2010 Author Posted July 10, 2010 You are in fact bang on the money (and it was the Tu-22 the ai was using not 33 as I said, I am dumb ass), I was attracted by the nuclear part of the description. :D The encyclopedia needs some work to explain a bit more about it's contents and how to use them. bumfire Posted July 11, 2010 Posted July 11, 2010 Not just the Encyclopedia needs to explain the contents a little more fully, the sim needs to name some weapons properly, as in my game, the 50 cal strap on browning for the Kiowa Helo, it names it as a Brauning, obviously a german spelling for the weapon, but I am using the english version :)
