zorlac Posted May 5, 2005 Posted May 5, 2005 Just a quicky, not super important or anything, but the ability to play/create/edit AVIs from track files with a standalone application (or a "nobbled install" (i.e not able to actually fly, just edit AVIs and stuff) would be helpful. Would allow us to edit track files at work whilst away from our gaming rigs. Just a thought....
amagad Posted May 5, 2005 Posted May 5, 2005 u know what would be real cool in a future version... Been able to play with an f-14 and land on US carriers. Also it would be great to have an AI co-pilot to help u out with radars and directions. Weta43 Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 How about putting some ambient noise on the "outside world". Birds, distant traffic - that sort of thing. It really detracts from the immersion when you're sitting in the plane with the engines off & there's just an eerie (unreal) silence. Same for moving between stationary ground objects... Amagad - you're very unlikely to get an AI co-pilot, but I think I read that f-14's are regularly flown 1 up anyway? (can't be bothered hunting for the quote/link right now though.) Cheers.
