wolfpacguy Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 Hi guys! This is my first post on here. I was wondering how I can assign the left mouse button command to my saitek x52? I can't seem to find this action in the controls menu. I don't want to have to take my hands off the HOTAS just to go to my mouse to flip a switch in the cockpit. Also, I can't get the Saitek mouse control to be recognized by the controls menu? Any help would be great! Thanks guys! Fred
Udat Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 (edited) the little wheel on the front of the throttle is acting as both mousewheel and mouse button 2 when no profile is loaded. By the way I am using the pro version, might be different.. Edit: if you meant assigning one of the mouse buttons to a profile, just right click the field where you want it, and select the desired mouse button from the rolldown menu. Still assuming the pro version is similar. wolfpacguy Posted July 14, 2010 Author Posted July 14, 2010 I forgot to add that I am talking about DCS Black Shark. I cant get the mouse stick on the saitek to work in the game. I want to use it to look around and to use the mouse button to activate cockpit controls. I also cant get the rotoary dials or the mouse wheel on the saitek to work in the game. Hope this clears that up. Any help would be great!
Udat Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 Ok then I don't really know. A BS guy will probably come skipping along shortly and tell you how to set up. Intel i7-950 @stock, Asus P6X58D-E, 3x4GB Corsair Vengeance, Asus GTX 580, Corsair 120GB SSD, Corsair HX 750W PSU [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Fred This is actually a good idea and I might use it for my advanced profile I started to create. You can assign any X-52 button as mouseclick (left or right) easily using Saitek SST, AFAIK.
