Yuri909 Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Okay so I have DCS Blackshark on Steam, I fly with a Saitek X52. I'm pretty good with the control scheme I use; however, in multiplayer the scheme is always different. Is there anything I can do? It doesn't make any sense then way my 52 is binded in MP.. and since I don't have an option to edit any button mapping in MP I just can't figure out what to do so that I can fly normally.
RIPTIDE Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Maybe you are flying in Game Mode when offline and then MP play forces Real mode? Remember you have to set up key bindings in "Ka-50 Real" in the options, which is what will be forced in MP play. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Panzertard Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Yes, most MP servers force "Real" mode. "Game" mode and "Real" mode have different joystick & controller configuration. The mind is like a parachute. It only works when it's open | The important thing is not to stop questioning
Nose Nuggets Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Yes, most MP servers force "Real" mode. "Game" mode and "Real" mode have different joystick & controller configuration. They are also entirely different games IMO.
Yuri909 Posted August 8, 2010 Author Posted August 8, 2010 Bugger for me then. With an X52 I still don't have enough buttons to make flying comfortable through my controller setup. That's annoying though that they force people to play in a manner some might not be able to even use...
