Spades_Neil Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 This is a very strange glitch. I have no idea what causes it and no idea what fixes it. However, two days in a row this was happening on the Su-25T and then it disappeared yesterday and went back to normal. I think I once had a squadron member complaining of a similar error. Note that the HUD is not the only instrument doing this. I failed to get a screenshot of the attitude indication, but that too was reading that I had rolled a few degrees to the left even though I was flying perfectly level. Very odd. o.o This happen to anyone else? :joystick:
mvsgas Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 Need to wait several minutes on the ground after power is applied without moving to align INS To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
104th_Crunch Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 Yes, In FC1 you had to wait a good minute at least before turning on your engines after starting your electrics with shift+L to simulate aligning INU. The time is now only a few seconds in FC2, but in FC2 if you turn on the electrics followed by the engines very quickly, you can introduce misalignment still. Give it a few seconds in between.
RIPTIDE Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 Yep. I think its a simulated wait for the gyros to spin up. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
