Starting Su27/33/25T pit build

Well I'm ending the "design process" and starting to build my own su-27/25t pit for LO:FC 1.12b , but I'm having the next problems:

 

For the MFD y bought a supermarket 9" 800x600 vga (black-white) screen

- the problem is -programming-, because in my case I would like that the MFD only show image at the remote screen, and not in the game too (to avoid double rendering -> fps drop when you use the shkival or any tv guided weapon)

 

For switching panels, I draw it thinking in functionality a little bit over realistic feature, because of that I use obsolete switch for other functions to save space ('cause my room it's to small), and that way have all the commands in only 3 panels.

- the only panel I would like to be the most real is the radar panel (see attach 1), but I can't find the "in-game" function for the next switches:

"7" ЗАХВ АВТ-РУЧН

"8" АПК-АП-ОТКЛ

"10" АЗ-Д/ОБН/АЗ-V

For other side I don't know wich of all of them is for the selection betwen "scan/track-while-scan", I think that may be is the n° "7" but I'm not sure....

I found a panel in internet (see attach 2), but I would like to know who did it and wich function has each button, it would solve this "problems"

 

 

Ok, I think this is all for the moment. I let some print screens of the panels attachment 3, 4 and 5 (the labels will be in russian and it's not finished at all) hehe

This is probably a toggle between auto and manual modes for something related to locking up a target. Think it might be TWS? Could be pretty similar, I guess.

Not sure here, the last part OTKL means "TURN OFF". Could it have something to do with Autopilot (AP)?

 

 

АЗ-Д/ОБН/АЗ-V

I am guessing the AZ means Azimuth. AZ-D / OBN / AZ-V. OBN might stand for Obnaruzhit, or detect. Maybe it adjusts the radar azimuth somehow? Interesting that they use the latin V, maybe it's a physics reference.

 

Sorry, just some initial guesswork. Really we need a real Russian to chime in.

"7" ЗАХВ АВТ-РУЧН - Capture auto-manual

"8" АПК-АП-ОТКЛ -

The switch АПК-АП-ОТКЛ OF [APK]-AP- OFF, is used with the radar under the conditions of interferences. The selection of the position of switch is accomplished after the analysis of the radar situation, represented on the HUD

I guess it means "Radar burn-through" (some 2 modes and OFF)

 

From MiG-29 manual (Rus-Ger-Eng):

An - AKTIVE STORUNGEN - Active Jamming

OTKЛ. - STORUNGEN AUS - ECCM (Electronic Counter-Countermeasures) OFF

Anк - KOMPENSATION AKTIVER STORUNGEN - CAJ (Compensation Active Jammer)

"10" АЗ-Д/ОБН/АЗ-V - автоматический захват - по дальности - обновление - автоматический захват - скорость / Automatic capture - By range - Reset (Continual update?) - Automatic capture - by velocity

 

Capture = Lock-on

the " АЗ-Д/ОБН/АЗ-V" is for set what information you want to ¿display? in the hud (or somewhere) D= distance V=Velocity , but I would like to know if FC uses this command. I think "no" but maybe I'm wrong... :S

I jump to FC2!

Now I have the problem with the landing/taxi light, it has no longer 3 sets (off-taxi-landing and then to taxi-off) now it has 2 set (off-taxi-landing and then OFF). This change affects the correct use of my 3 pos toggle switch.

Does anybody know how can I change this secuence??

 

 

Another ask respect to my last post in this thread, FC2 uses the commands mentioned above? (AP-OTKL-APK ; AZ-L / OBN / AZ-V ; and CAPTURE AUTO/MANUAL)

For help with the Pit you can try to contact Wasserfall maybe he can share some tips with building. If you need a Base for a pit I can give some drawings. That is has a based design from a Akrnes barnes Cockpit but then with a Sukhoi design.

I'm building now, I already have almost everything, but I'm trapped into this little problem about the commands that FC2 uses or not, so I need some opinions about the taxi-landing light and the radar panel...

Here are my conclutions, tell me if I'm wrong:

 

1 - key "I": Radar on/off (only 2 of the 3 positions available. Position missing: DATALINK)

 

2 - key "O - RShift": Laser Ranger On/Off

 

3 - key "I - RAlt": Radar RWS/TWS(US) and SCAN/TWS (RF) Mode Select

 

4 - unknown. Unavailable on Lomac and FC1,2????
