chafa2 Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 which was of me flying stunts around a cliff by the sea. I flew for a couple of minutes. Then i saved the track and replayed it. on my first turn the aircraft crashed. I did not crash the plane at this point when i was actually flying. All I can say is that the system appears to be very flawed. hehe. and thus it will be my last track. Nice sim but you gotta be kidding me on that one...:music_whistling:
ShalashakaDS Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 you should try again and record another track or play the one you have and see if you get the same result (maybe you where going fast forward or something?), because youll see that theres a lot of tracks around that have been uploaded by players, so, broken tracks happens, but shouldnt be the rule.
chafa2 Posted August 29, 2010 Author Posted August 29, 2010 the track was recorded in FC2 and immediately played after the recording. The bottom-line is the play back was not the flight i recorded. I replayed the track 4 times and it was the same every time. the plane stuffed when it didn't during the actual flight. I might think it has something to do with the FC2 upgrade concerning the new terrain.
Sawamura Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 Recording tracks in FC2 got a lot more difficult. If you do funny things while flying, for example bounce into the ground with crashes off, the whole track will be ruined. It feels like, the record system got unstable. Half of all my tracks are messed up. The best tips to have a high chance, to record a stable track is to taxi in center of taxiway with less ruder movements as possible taxi in a decend speed(not to slow, not to fast) not taxi over dirt or grass not to take screenshots while flying, which also could produce lags in case of aerobatic flying with crashes off, not to bounce into the ground. I cant warrant, that this works, but this will certainly increase the chances.
topdog Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 If you've messed with export.lua to add some control inputs from other devices / switches / etc., as commands then these don't get recorded into the track as regular input and it will cause the track to do some strange things. Might not be what happened here, but I figured if we want a shopping list of do's and don'ts to try and get a good track then we should include it :) [ i7 2600k 4.6GHz :: 16GB Mushkin Blackline LV :: EVGA GTX 1080ti 11GB ] [ TM Warthog / Saitek Rudder :: Oculus Rift :: Obutto cockpit :: Acer HN274H 27" 120Hz :: 3D Vision Ready ]
Sanch0 Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 99% of my multiplayer tracks are broken! The best tips to have a high chance, to record a stable track is toThis is the next thing that should be corrected in patch. This is very frustrating :disgust: PVAF "A fighter without a gun... is like an airplane without a wing" dedicated to F-4 Phantom
