Close ups of panels??

Hi.

Are there hot keys to look at a particular panel close up and dead on? Just that looking behind my shoulder sometimes, some of the dials block the numbers they are pointing to and also the cyclic blocks the lower weapons panels etc.

Yes there is, I dont know the keys right now, but there definately is. It should be in the manual, or just look in the key commands ingame.

You mean snap views? It is 0 (zero key on numpad) and 1-9 keys. Also there are Alt+1-9 keys IIRC.

I just looked, its left windows button + numpad2 for shkval and left win + numpad5 for hud, and left win + other num keys for other panels.
