I would like to translate texts from training missions to the Czech. Is there any way to display (extract) the texts and replace them with other

Yes. Mission - it's just zipped file. Open it using WinZip, WinRAR or similar software, you will see several files (and folders) inside. Open file <mission> in any text editor (we suggest Notepad++), and you can see and edit all triggers, units, texts etc.

After editing re-pack mission file back and enjoy :)

Any mission or track file is a ZIP-file. Just change extention from .miz (.trk) to .zip

.. or don't. I make it without external archiver - right from Total Commander. My colleague prefers Norton Commander.

Guys, :)

Did any of you successfully extract training missions text from the latest 1.0.9 version using Mizedit?

I have tried but I get no training text in the "Triggers"window.

However I have no problems if I open .miz training files from older versions.

Since some of the the training missions have changed in the latest version (1.0.9) I would like to use them for text extraction.

Thanks for your help

Hi mladen ;)

There is a new version of MizEdit under testing, to work with 1.0.9 miz files. You can download it here: http://www.7then.net/downloads/MizEdit_v0.33.zip

Note however that this version is not fully tested yet, there might be some issues left ;)

Thank you very much @berkoutskaia

I downloaded anquickly tried the new version and it seems to work fine with 1.0.9 version.

Have fun and be happy up there ...
