undertheradar Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 Hello all, When I play LockOn 2 and A-10C, the jets always seem to fly off in random directions. I can not let go of the stick for a second to perform a cockpit function and it requires constant input to stay CLOSE to straight and level. I have a cougar and in the other sims I play, F4 and JF-18, I do not have this problem so, I do not think its my stick. I went into options/controllers and, good lord there are a ton of options, over kill really. I simply want my jet to be more stable. Is there a guide somewhere on how to setup your stick in ED games? It is really frustrating and is preventing me from enjoying these games to the fullest. Thank you!
SmokeyTheLung Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 I could be wrong here but I think you probably need to look into "trim" function System specifications: Computer, joystick, DCS world, Beer
undertheradar Posted October 10, 2010 Author Posted October 10, 2010 Between that and dead zone, you are probably right, however, I can't get my settings to stick. My throttle was not working, I went into the settings and fixed but, the next time I played, I had to fix it again.
Bucic Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 Basically avoid deadzones at all cost. Here's my topic on the subject Joystick configuration tips and advices ... Your description does not allow a proper identification of your problem. First start by testing if your joystick output is fine at control panel level or using DIview or JoyTester2. Otherwise it will all be blind shots. F-5E simpit cockpit dimensions and flight controls Kill the Bloom - shader glow mod Poor audio Doppler effect in DCS [bug] Trees - huge performance hit especially up close
