Launcher has encountered a problem??

Hi guys

 

Having bought this sim a couple of weeks ago (download version) I have been doing the usual fast learning to get the best out of this sim. Unfortunately last night after playing the quick start mission to test my X52 profile out before going online to fly with my squad the single player launcher will not work and Win explorer (running Win XP Pro 32 bit) say sorry but launcher encountered a problem and has to close! Sorry for the blah blah you know the rest! I can still launch the multiplayer but main launcher ot working and i have tried launching from the program folder rather than the shortcut and same result but i also get Blackshark.LUA does not exist error.

 

Any ideas i did not adjust anything in the game when i started the Quickstart mission and exited after i was happy my X52 profile changes were ok. Also have now noticed that my saved contoler profiles in Flaming Cliffs 2 have dissapeared from the load profile list, All very strange and i have no clue.

 

If i cannot get this working i am going to have to use up another of my reinstall/deactivate lives to try and get back up and running.

Re-install it over the top, or backup your configs (manual copy) and then remove and re-install (and then copy your configs back).

 

Should sort it, and won't use an activation.
