draggon Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 Gents, My Stick and pedals work just fine but the sim is not seeing my Thrustmaster throttle for some reason? How do you map the throttle if the sim does not automatically recognize your throttle? Regards, Draggon
MTFDarkEagle Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 Hmm... could you post a screenshot of your axis commands? Offtopic: welcome to the forum :) Lukas - "TIN TIN" - 9th Shrek Air Strike Squadron TIN TIN's Cockpit thread
draggon Posted October 25, 2010 Author Posted October 25, 2010 Screenshots of Axis Here are my settings, thanks for the help, it works fine in Falcon 4 so not sure why it was not recognized by A-10. Cheers
draggon Posted October 25, 2010 Author Posted October 25, 2010 Pics Sorry, would help if I actually attached the pics! :)
KillaALF Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 From your picture it seems like you have more than just the Cougar connected, the axes setup showing in the first pic is for a Logitech G13, you'll have to scroll to the right (srollbar at the bottom) to see your Cougar is my guess.
KillaALF Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 Well yes, and no - axis setup is whats important.
Krebs20 Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 When I first setup my cougar the throttle was not assigned correctly. It was setup as a rotary for the throttle. I just changed it in the axis menu and it fixed everything. At the top of the controls screen. It says "all" next to A10 sim. Click that and change it to "Axis Commands" that should get you on the right track. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
draggon Posted October 26, 2010 Author Posted October 26, 2010 Hi Krebs, I am still not sure what they should be for my settings, could you send me a screen shot of yours so I know what to choose? Regards, Draggon
Krebs20 Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 I will when I get home. 0900 GMT. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Krebs20 Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 I think this picture should say everything it needs too. When I 1st loaded the game it had Joy_slider1 for the throttle. Change it to Joy_z [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
draggon Posted October 27, 2010 Author Posted October 27, 2010 New problem, now it does not see my Hotas? It did, but when I was trying to get oit to map the other night something happened. Any clue as to how we get the sim to see our controls again? I am thinking I will have to reinstall the Beta?
draggon Posted October 27, 2010 Author Posted October 27, 2010 Ok, got my Hotas back in the mapping window for the controls. When I use Joy Z for Throttle common it mapped to my top MAN/RANGE knob. When I rotate it clockwise or visa versa it throttles up. When I move the throttle forward/backward I get no response from my throttles? Odd?
draggon Posted October 28, 2010 Author Posted October 28, 2010 Seems like no matter what I map too, only the range knob will operate my throttle? Anyone have an alternate idea of what will work?
Krebs20 Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 Try saving the profile after to configure it. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
draggon Posted October 30, 2010 Author Posted October 30, 2010 Krebs, the controls panes have the button at the top to save the profile but I can not get it to work? We are both still on the first Beta, right?
