Ragtop Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 (edited) I was watching a program on Discovery a while ago, one of those future weapons style things (I don't know the actual program) Basically they were showcasing a new helo (maybe not brand new, but within the last 5-6 years I think. It was capable of carrying troops at extremely high speed, maybe about 6-8 people. One of the things they showed was a training operation, showing the way it could be used to make quick ground intercepts. They had a car driving along a dirt road at high speed - to simulate insurgents - and flew the helo up very high, and then dipped it to about 65-70% nose down and built up insane speed. They just swooped over the car, turned it on a dime dropped it on the road in front, the troops jumped out and surrounded the car at gunpoint. I'd love to see this thing again! EDIT: Found it! Go to 21:00. Anyone know what this is? Edited October 29, 2010 by Ragtop 476th vFG Alumni

Ragtop Posted October 28, 2010 Author Posted October 28, 2010 I don't THINK it was either of those, something makes me think it was a bit more snub nosed, it was very unassuming for the way it performed, but without seeing that clip again I can't be sure! 476th vFG Alumni
