Refueling

anybody made a short and sweet aerial refueling mission... like air start behind the tanker aways then just practicing hitting the mark :joystick:

Nope, most of people's efforts have been directed towards using the forum Search. But you might find some great posts, helpful pictures and I believe a demo mission in this thread:

Thank you for your helpful, although sarcastic reply. I saw that thread a nd missed the two missions that were buried coffin deep in it, which is why I posted a note here in the appropriate forums... user made missions. I now see why new people stay as far away from the sim community as possible. But again thank you for pointing out the enormous error in my ways

It's just not just the sim community, it's any forum. If you show up on any busy forum and post a question that's been asked and answered several times, especially in two currently active threads, you'll get a far worse response usually. If you search for "search before posting" you'd see that I let you off quite easy compared to most. :smilewink: Then you replied... Oh well.

 

Diveplane had made a MP mission for refueling, but it won't run in Single Player, so I changed it so it would:

It's just not just the sim community, it's any forum. If you show up on any busy forum and post a question that's been asked and answered several times, especially in two currently active threads, you'll get a far worse response usually. If you search for "search before posting" you'd see that I let you off quite easy compared to most. :smilewink: Then you replied... Oh well.

Thank you. I had this mission downloaded and the other one which was/is called aarsimple. I tried both and finally went into mission editor and figured it out. Now, i have been looking for the key command to open the refueling door (or whatever it is called). The manual doesn't say, a printout of keyboard commands has "R" for refueling and "RLCtrl" for toggle refueling boom. I have made contact with tanker and the boom retracts or extends but have to figure out how to open door. Thanks

I also had this problem and somebody kindly pointed out that there is a movable lever on the left console for the Refuelling door.

The key commands do not work in the Beta.

I'm sorry to bother you but this is pretty hard to search for,

how do you add user files to the actual game

copy to the miz (mission file) to the mission folder within the game and that will do it
