Source Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 (edited) I got FC2 today, and I'm having fun, but I'm having some trouble navigating and using radar. When I'm flying I have no clue how to find other players or how to find airfields to land at without using the map, or labels. I basically have no idea how to play without labels and external views, and I don't know how to navigate to certain places like airfields. The only radar I kinda understand is the f-15, but sometimes when I try to lock on to a target it does nothing while other times I lock on and fire a missile and then I lose the lock for no apparent reason. This might have something to due with the fact that I don't know the differences between the missiles. Also if anyone has Xfire and would be willing to help me learn online please pm me. Critical Bill Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 I recommend you to spend a minute or two on the "lockon_fc2_flight_manual_en.pdf". It is found in folder "Doc" in programfolder. Ex: c:\..\Eagle Dynamics\LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2\Doc\lockon_fc2_flight_manual_en.pdf Press key "1" to switch between route waypoints and airfields. Press the "Next waypoint key" to select different waypoints or airfields. Watch the Head Down Display (HDD) while you press the "Next waypoint" key and you'll get the idea. The only way to find other players is to use your radar.
