Just wondering what you pilots do when you want to voice report enemy fighters to you squaddies?? If your squaddies is at your wing things are easier, but if you don't know the exact position of you squaddies (when things get hot), how do you report the enemies position correct??? I use my heading and altitude to the enemy and radar distanse, elevation etc. Does anyone have a better method so my squaddies quickly find my target???

Thanks for your quick and clarifying responses. When there are opportunities for having "live" viewers in game, I prefer Export.lua as part of the IC. <51>Case: I shall give this a try... Cheers.

To get Tacview to work with FC2 you need to do some editing in the Export.lua and it works just fine. The problem is that some multiplayer servers do not like this Export.lua editing and you get an IC failure. I fully agree with the servers IC for stopping cheaters, but I don't think a good debreif after a mission is cheating? Is there nothing I can do to get Tacview-logs from these servers?

I'll gess you are right Miro... It is a while ago since I did that touch-down. Think I landed at the road and went out in the grass breaking my undercarriage. I sure hell didn't get a ride with the Ural back to base either :doh:

I recommend you to spend a minute or two on the "lockon_fc2_flight_manual_en.pdf". It is found in folder "Doc" in programfolder. Ex: c:\..\Eagle Dynamics\LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2\Doc\lockon_fc2_flight_manual_en.pdf Press key "1" to switch between route waypoints and airfields. Press the "Next waypoint key" to select different waypoints or airfields. Watch the Head Down Display (HDD) while you press the "Next waypoint" key and you'll get the idea. The only way to find other players is to use your radar.

I am very thorough when I do my walk-around inspection before take-off. I always include a walk-around and on top of the shelter. ...nothing left to chance.. :doh:

Does anyone know where to find any PSD Template for LockOn FC2 planes (F-15)? I have googled, search and the only psd I find is for the Viggen on Lockonfiles.com. And does anyone know a good tutorial for making my own skins in FC2? Not only how to make one in photoshop, but which files to put where to make a skin for Modman. I have made skins for DCS BS and now I want to try it in FC2. Anyone?

Well, finally I getting somewhere... Winz's light trick did it... My FPS increased from steady 11 to 27. Now I can at least fly this thing without all the stuttering. I'm totally new to Lock on and FC2, so I just have to live without the nightflying with illumunation bombs and rockets... for now :thumbup: I guess I just have to take the intercept/escort part of the missions then. If there is any permanent miraculous cure for this problem, please let me know. Thanks to all of you for your suggestion and support. :beer: Cheers!!!

My Alienware M17X is just a week old. HDD (7400 RPM) with 1 TB space and I got 860 GB left.

I have now tried this with NO result: - disabled Antivirus - All graphics LOW (incl. visible range = LOW) I don't run Skype or any other bloatware. The strange thing is that no matter what I change (LOW to HIGH) in the Graphic options in FC2 the FPS stays the same (between 11-13) when I look towards buildings, planes etc. to the right as shown in screenshots. I also tried NONE fullscreen mode and same FPS. There must be something wrong with FC2 sins other games run smoothly???

All drivers are installed and updated. The first thing I did when received it. Have googled and searched, but don't find any solution to my problem. I have just received my Alienware 17X-R2 with: - Graphics : Dual CrossFire 1GB ATI GDDR5 Mobility Radeon HD 5870 - Processor : Intel Core i7 Processor 820QM(1.73Ghz,8MB cache) - Memory : 8192MB (2x4096) 1333MHz DDR3 Dual Channel AND my FPS drops to 11 in FC2 ?????????? I just bought "Lock on" with FC2 and wanned to test the Mig-29S Patrol mission. The FPS is high and things goes very smooth when I fly, but when I look at other planes (in air and on the ground) the FPS drops to around 11. I have installed the NoCloudShadows.zip but this only fixed the cloud-shadow-vertical-lines-graphic-problem-thing. "Lock on" is smooth with graphics high. "DCS BS" is smooth with graphics high. FC2 sucks even with graphics low... I have: - tweaked the graphic.cfg (NO result) - tried all possible variation in ATI CCC (NO result) - deactivated ATI Catalyst etc. (NO result) - Crossfire on and off (NO result) WHAT HAVE I MISSED AND WHAT I'M I DOING WRONG???????????????? PLEASE...ANYONE???

Nerver mind. Reinstalled and now i works. Seem like the problem was caused when I tried to load my old profile .lua file which was made by an Russion version 1.0 of DCS into my new English version of DCS. Had to reconfigure all my "spesial" keys and make a new profile .lua file. Thans for all help ;)

After installing a complete new DCS Black Shark and then patch 1.0.1c all keyboard keys for KA-50 real are gone. When I try to load profile like BlackShark.lua or AsyncNetClient.lua I get the following error message: I don't want to assign "Default" for all the 500+ key commands in real mode. I saved my old Critical Bill.lua command file, but nothing happends when I try to load it after patch 1.0.1c. Help anyone???
