sofie_59 Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Sometimes my microstick just keep going, whit no input from me. I had to reconnect to another Usb-port,then it works ok. And sometimes the microstick just dont move! I have to reconnect and then it works. Maybe a new firmware would solve the problem? Is enyone else having problem whit it? braden Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 seen this intermittantly too, in win7 32 and 64 bit, with and without target s/w installed. another USB port works, then going back to original port is ok

Glider_UK Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 My Warthog Had the same problem from being erratic to no fuction at all, after endless emails and telephone calls to Thrustmaster they have admitted its an actual fault with their throttle. still waiting for a response of what they are going to do about it, them answering emails is attrocious. Luckly I bought mine from Amazon they had a replacment with me in 2 days (great service) http://www.modeldesigns.co.uk Mobo Asus Maximus XI RAM:64GB DDR4 CPU:Intel I9 9900 Nvidia 2080TI WIN10 64Bit HP Reverb
coolts Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Some USB devices get very tetchy about which port they work with. Manufacturers are very creative about the virtual USB devices that they create in device manager to enable all sorts of features and emulations. The Cougar for instance, to allow chaining the throttle, created virtual hubs and ports which could be clearly seen in device manager under the USB section. Not sure about the hog as I am at work but the normal “plug and play” capability of USB that we all expect is compromised significantly when the driver started doing all this kind of USB tomfoolery. My cougar was a right pain in the arse in this department. If I so much as pulled the USB cable out and put it back in the same port I had to re-flash the firmware. Moving to another port necessitated an un-install /reinstall of the drivers. So for those with vanishing throttles, etc. Drill down to the USB device and uninstall any TM created ones, reboot and re-attach the devices. You will know if it’s working as you will hear the Windows “bing-bong” USB noise as it finds devices. Good luck.
