I am trying to wean myself off “easy communications” and have figured the radio settings to communicate with JTAC.

On the “instant action” missions in the ME, my co-pilot has the settings;

BORT#11’ and COMM (ticked) ‘251’ (my plane is down as BORT 10 and 251)

Now I assume the tick means comms are possible and the 251 is the UHF frequency on the AN/ARC-164 .

What does BORT mean and which other settings on the radios do I need to enable wingman comms? (my wingie is silent). shouLd the reciever be set to "BOTH" OR "MAIN"?

**EDIT** i think "BORT" means "Tail #" as i am "610" and my wingie is "611"

Are Tower comms possible yet and if so, how do we get those frequencies? I appreciate that the comms systems is still WIP but would like to know which bits are working and which bits are just me being thick ;)

Wow. And again...WOW. :thumbup:

These should be in the ED manual mate. Like they were in.....that 'other' games manual :smilewink:

I saw that you and a few other guys were working up charts etc, a few weeks ago. Can you get BWAZE to link to them in the "user submitted docs" section of his sticky thread as they should be readily accessible from the front page IMO.
