olemetry Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 I am having trouble loading a custom (SFJackBauer's) profile and now I want to load in the default contorller profile to get back to ground zero. However, there are several lua profiles in the joystick directory (DCS A10-C Beta/Config/Input/Aircrafts/A10C/joystick). Does anyone know which to load or how to get back to the default controls? Regarding loading JackBauer's profile, when i follow his instructions and load he controller profile, I immeadiately know that something did not work properly becuase the puase button is not mapped as it should so i can never start the sim. Anyone else experience this? Please help. Thanks yall.

olemetry Posted November 8, 2010 Author Posted November 8, 2010 well this is really wierd - loading the default profile does not seem to do what it is supposed to should loading the default profile make the puase button = pause/break ? what should i be looking for in the lua file to verify? i already reinstalled A-10C a few days ago to remedy this problem of not properly loading controller lua's. It must be me becuase i cant find anyone else with this problem. THanks for any help.
olemetry Posted November 8, 2010 Author Posted November 8, 2010 ok - can someone explain the loading of controller profiles? it looks like some people describe loading a profile unde the keyboard column and again under the joystick column?? I always thought before that i only clicked on any of the cells, loaded a lua profile, exited and it worked. but now, no profiles seem to load properly. please help.
kylania Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 There is a Lua profile for Keyboard, Throttle and Joystick. You need to make sure you click in the correct column. When I first got mine I clicked on keyboard and loaded my Joystick settings and lost all my keycommands!! Just make sure you're clicking in the right column (any command is fine, as long as it's the right column) and picking the right lua file. olemetry Posted November 8, 2010 Author Posted November 8, 2010 uh oh - i think i see whats going on now. thanks kylania u are a big help to me in other threads i read. can i reload the default keyboard profile? does an X-52 profile update both the joystick and throttle profiles?
