Any way to start off cold and dark in campain?

It seems that all the campain missions start you out on the runway ready for take off. I tried to alter the first waypoint but it does not allow it.

Is there anyway to start out on the ramp cold and dark in the campain?

Open the mission in the mission editor rather than using the Mission Planner within the campaign.

 

Then you'll be able to change between runway, taxiway and ramp.

I've never seem a campaign mission yet where I didn't start cold and dark.
