So why did it explode?

It looked like an alright autorotation. There are no attachments or cannon rounds onboard

Sometimes if you land in the free Landscape and your Helo is moving just a little it explodes. Try to land at the Runway a Street or a Building.

 

Same happens when your flying online and the server is full of Pilots.

You Take a new Helicopter spawn> and now you find yourself at the free Landscape still at the Airport but at Grasland. If you try to start then the helo explodes or gets Damage or your a lucky guy and nothing happens.
