Guest ricing Posted May 27, 2005 Posted May 27, 2005 EDIT: Forget it... Found a similar post a bit down... And I also read the 1.1 Read Me! Ignore me. Sorry! I realize that joystick settings are a matter of personal preference, but from a realistic point of view, should I use different settings for the US a/c and the Russian a/c (especially the Su-25 and Su-25T with the new advanced flight models). The reason for asking is that someone over at the SimHQ forum said that you should use a linear curve for the Su-25 and Su-25T, which is impossible with the US planes (makes them behave like a twitchy small R/C plane…). I’m using a Saitek evo and a CH Products Pro Throttle and my curve(s) looks something like this (see attached jpeg): So the question is – Will I ruin the new flight model using a curve like this? Should I go with the linear one? :) Richard
BuzzU Posted May 27, 2005 Posted May 27, 2005 I use a different setting for different planes. I don't see a way around it. Buzz
