Nevada / Campaign Problems (BOOTCAMP)

Hi guys,

 

Would REALLY appreciate some help here!

 

Installed HOG (w/ patch) on my (brand new) MACBOOK PRO 2.88 GHZ i7, NVIDIA 512 GT 330M, 8GB RAM, of course, running bootcamp on WINDOWS 7 w/ DX11 and all the latest drivers.

 

a) Although the game is working almost perfectly, I am unable to load any of the missions in NEVADA (also custom missions). Load fails early on and an error message is displayed.

 

b) I am unable to finish the first campaign mission as the DCS app fails at some point (totally random, could fail after takeoff or closer to landing). I am guessing that this is because it's a pretty busy mission in terms of aircraft. This also happens when I generate a custom (busy) mission.

 

The game runs in many resolutions but after trying 1600x and 1200x the same problems persist, but of course FPS is better. I took the texture and scene settings from high to low, same problem. I am of course running with ADMIN rights, both the launcher.exe and DCS.exe

 

Any...ANY clue on what could help? Anyone running on bootcamp as well?

Would re-installing help?

You should have read some of the Beta Forum post - most of Nevada problems are covered there.

I'll move this thread over to that forum in some minutes, so you manage to read this post.
