dnme Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 (edited) Hi folks, I have been trying to learn the new a-10c but it was such a steep learning curve that I went and bought FC2. Installed it tonight and then sat down and read the manual. I am trying to start simple, so all I wish to do is a little nav practice in the a10a. I create a mission, set up a few way points starting with a takeoff from runway. then a number of turning points (I have also tried flyover points) at specified altitudes, speeds etc and loop around until I create a final landing point back on the runway I started from. I save the mission and fly it, no matter what I do, the a10 seems to fly some random flight plan. I tried it with flyover points and it seems a little more accurate except for the final point (runway), it did not turn onto it, it turned away. Can I say at this point, that I find the manual to be very inadequate here. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? It's frustrating having invested so much time (and cash). BTW: I am using Nav mode [1], and LALT - 6 which according to the key commands manual for the a10 is 'Course Follow'. Many thanks for any help Edited November 22, 2010 by dnme HAF 932, Asus P6X58D-E, Intel i7-920, Noctua NH-D14, Corsair Dominator 6GB, WD 1TB HDD, Sapphire 5870 Vapour X 1GB, (1 x iiYama E2410HDS 24" LCD), Nothing OC'd: Saitek X52 Pro Flight Controller, Logitech G27 Race Controller, Logitech G15 Keyboard, TrackIR 5(w/pro clip), Windows 7 64bit.
