check drawings please

Hi

 

I will be using a laser engraver\cutter at work and I have done the tech drawings, I would like to thank y2kiah's thread for all the images and great info.

To use the cutter I needed to convert from imperial to metric, if anybody could quickly check and confirm if they are correct before I cut the material I would be very appreciative.

Cmon chaps, If any body has the actual dimensions to this panel that would be great. As y2kiah has said in his thread hes not sure about the accuracy. I have browsed google for any dimensions with no results. The only other image (which I cant find the thread for ) is great for the overall dimensions but not the size and placment of the holes on the topplate.

So any help would be great.

I don't know about the dimensions, Glider - but your "SIG AMPL" (next to "LINE CHECK") has a typo.

Glad my thread could help...I haven't posted in a while, I need to get on that. Yours looks very good, my opinion is don't get too caught up in exact dimensions, I think if it's close enough to the eyeball, it's close enough. After all you're not selling it to the military or anything like that. I've actually updated the fuel panel and moved things around since those screen shots were taken in my first post. It looks different on a large computer screen but then once you get the piece in hand it's only 5.75 inches wide, pretty small really, and the small differences aren't noticeable at all.

Would like to see the updated version, your thread is very informative. I am actually only making one standalone panel at the moment to be connected by USB, simular to the warthog hotas, if all goes ok I will then move onto more panels.
