Ownage2themax3 Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 In the mission editor, setting an aircraft's AI to "player" will make it so that when you start the mission you will be playing as that aircraft, right? I have gone to the mission editor, placed an aircraft, waypoints, other allies, enemies, and all that, then set the original aircraft's AI to player. Then I would start the mission and I would be unable to play. Yes, I have made SURE that I set the AI to "player."
dooom Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 sounds right... did you deselect player from the original aircraft it was set in? might be a conflict if you have more than one "player" designation. If you are trying to create a MP mission - set to Client. dooom Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 check to ensure you only have one airframe as Player... otherwise, what you describe sounds about right. can you describe more what you mean by "unable to play"? What do you see? anything? is there an error code or crash? Ownage2themax3 Posted November 29, 2010 Author Posted November 29, 2010 Hrm...it seems to work now. Don't know what went wrong before but it seems to be actually putting me in the aircraft instead of spectating the AI's do it.
