There wasn't any open DCSW servers this afternoon so I took an A10A out on the 104th server. Heck after the short time I've been in the C, I couldn't believe how lost I was. No DSMS, no Countermeasure system, no TGP, and a flight model that feels like the C when its empty. Its amazing the difference. The only thing that it had going for it were the helpful fellows in Eagles keeping the Migs away, but yeah it was a heck of a step back.

Such a pity we cant sub the C in for the A until we have some DCS fighters

I know the feeling, I loaded into the 51st server the other night and was looking around the pit wondering why certain switches weren't turned on. I was able to trim the aircraft, yet the trim was turned off! I tried to flip the switches with my mouse but the it was wrestling with input from my trackIR. It was so confusing. I really do hope we can somewhat easily create an A-10A aircraft, with pit and SAFM [super advanced FM(DCS quality)]. It would be quite interesting to learn what is different between the two aircraft in terms of systems.

The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.
