Virtual cockpit- help

I'm brand new here, just bought the sim and patched to 1.02.

I went to youtube and ran the startup video and followed along. when you move the mouse the view moves- i.e. virtual cockpit. However when i load a mission the mouse doesn't move the view.

Is there a key press that activates the virtual cockpit?

I've been searching the forums and docs for a couple hours and can't find this info.

You can use numpads to shift the view at least... i use a track ir 5 so i dont know more than that... if you like to play flightsims, a track ir is just as mandatory as a joystick in my oppinion

 

also try to hit F1 more than once... (think that hanges the vc a bit..) or LEFT ALT+C
