bigbear948 Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 I have the oringinal locmac and I love it, but I find its difficult to learn things from the tutorials. I am considering purchasing Flaming cliffs 2, are the turtorials that much better with voiceovers ? Also instead of using the keyboard to activate things; e.g. flaps, engine start, etc, can I click on the buttons in the cockpit now ? I ask this beacuse I only have an eleven button joystick and memorising keyboards keys takes ages. One last thing, what do you think is the best joystick for around the 20 to 30 pounds ($32 to $48) mark, I am considering this one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Speedlink-SL-6640-SPEEDLINK-Black-Flightstick/dp/B0001ZN4WU/ref=pd_sim_vg_h__1 thanks
104th_Crunch Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 As far as I am aware, the videos are available on youtube for the most part. So have a look. There is no clickable cockpit in FC2, only DCS A-10C and Ka-50. Sorry, not tried many lower cost sticks. I use a CH Stick, Throttle and rudders and am very happy with them. The only think I miss are rotaries and a afterburn detent. If you enjoy FC1 at all, FC2 will make you happy and you won't regret it.
mig29 Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 @bigbear948: I am using an inexpensive joystick Saitek cyborg evo. This one falls in your price range. The joystick is good and has not given me any trouble yet.
