Scrambles44 Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 :book: I must have read pages 129-131 of the flight manual 50 times... But for the life of me I can not get CCRP bombing mode to work in the A-10. :helpsmilie: I switch to A2G mode, select either the MK20/82/84, then designate the target with the target designator. The target mark appears around the target, but when I press the CCRP Steering Mode button (O), nothing happens. The Cueing marker (as depicted in the flight manual on page 130) never appears. Am I doing something wrong? Page 295 of the flight manual also describes the process, but step 4 doesn't work. Pressing the CCRP mode button does nothing :joystick:
Griffin Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 First go to you FC2 control options and choose A-10. Then press "O" on your keyboard. If it's mapped correctly the selection should jump onto the CCRP Steering Mode. If it doesn't, find the above action yourself from the list and check the keyboard mapping.
Scrambles44 Posted December 19, 2010 Author Posted December 19, 2010 Ok, I've solved the problem. For some reason the Game Avionics Mode was interfering with designating the target. When Game Avionics is on, pressing the 'Lock Target' button (regardless of which key or button I set it to) cycles through the enemies surrounding its selection with a red square. You can't get into CCRP mode in this case. Switching off Game Avionics makes the 'Lock Target' button act the way it should, marking the point on the ground as designated, and then allowing me to enter into CCRP mode. Guess I'll have to stop "cheating" and turn off Game Avionics!
