ME Record AVI tool issue

I can record from my short test track in any configuration I tried but I can't for a large trk from my multiplayer flight. Are there any known trk size limits that the tool enforces. Every time I try record the big trk I get a pressed START button instead of immediate loading splash screen, and then it freezes at progress bar. When I terminate it the GUI pops up like nothing happened and works fine.
