Funkyjazz Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Hi, I have a hardcopy of FC 2.0 and i installed it on the "G" partition. Now i want to buy DCS BS trough Steam. When i install the game it will be installed on partition "H". Will those games find eachother? Second: When looking at YT vids it seems pretty hard to learn. Maybe even harder then the A-10. Im a jetflyer, and i want something new. Is the BS learning very(!) high? Without sollutions there aren't any problems CASE: CM 690 II / PSU: CM 750 Realpower / MB: MSI P55 GD65 / CPU: I7-860 @ 3,8 GHZ / MEM: 4x2GB OCZ 1866 Platinum / SB: Creative X-FI Extreme gamer / GPU: ASUS GTX 275 / HD: 2 x Samsung F1 1 GB / OS: WIN 7 64 Bit H.E. / MON: 1 x Samsung Syncmaster P2770HD & 1 x Samsung syncmaster 940bf / Logitech G27 / logitech G110 / Logitech M705 / Logitech Extreme 3D pro / Saitek Proflight Yoke, 2 USB Throttle controllers & rudders / TrackIR 4.0 /
luza Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 they don't need to "find" eachother. And yes DCS BS is a really high fidelity sim, lots of learning todo :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
power5 Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 BS is much harder than A10. Its a helo which are inherently harder to pilot than planes, and it has a nasty habit of taking its rotors off and going home when it gets mad at you. Just getting started is like rocket science compared to the A10 being like middle school science. After 2 start ups in the A10, I had it down easy. I still have a hard time remembering all the correct switch positions in BS. usually forget the switch on the back right wall to allow the flight dampers. Not sure why the switch is way back there. You mean the hydraulics and EKRAN switch? Probably so you never EVER get to turn it off in flight. ;) Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! Use punctuation, save lives!
