And what???

You told about your hardware configuration only on page 3!!!

What you discuss before is groundless I think. How somebody can

help you without to know what is your coputer. Get for "zoom" another

buttons and try to zoom with keybord first. I never read i forum that

people have problem with zoom. I have´t.

Yes, a childish replay is really helpful... There are some people that have the same problem as I do, the strange thing is that the only thing our rigs have in common is that we use Saitek flight controllers (no removing them and/or all other USB devices doesn't solve the problem)

Oh, and if you really read the topic, you would've known we tried different things, and yes, remapping the zoom keys was one of the first things we did, no need for genius remarks there, if we could solve it easily, we wouldn't have had a four page thread.

Keep it civil please.

FF,

I run FC with Win XP Pro(SP-2) and have: Saitek X36 HOTAS, Saitek P8000 command pad and Track-IR 3 Pro installed and I have never seen the problem you describe.

I dont know what causes it, but it cannot be a "bug" as such with Lock-on 1.1 - if it was, then everyone using your software combination would have the problem....it sounds more like a conflict between key mapping in FC vs. your programming software/profile or perhaps another controller device interfering.

And BTW, I also do have this problem! So there are at least 4 guys with exactly the same BUG behaviour with different Joysticks (even Joystick Brands)

Why is ED not having any idea? They should know what they altered from 1.02 to 1.1. concerning the zoom view!

Yes. Friend of mine has exactly the sam problem. Here's the quote from "that" post:

"My friend is having the same problem! He uses Black widow joystick (made by Speed LINK).

Any help here?"

Still having the view problem. Although I bought a new x-52 Saitek Joystick!

Any useful workaround? Maybe a hint from the developers, what might cause this problem?

I am able to change the "snapviews.lua" settings to adjust the range of the zoom area (min, max), but still something's recentering the zoom view between the min and max value automatically. So I am unable to keep up situational awareness, and identify targets visually with one lua setting.

ED: Is this a DirectX Problem or what? Do you have any idea? Will this be fixed sometime, or do you think it is not a FC caused problem?

Again: The weird recenter view behaviour exists even if I do NOT assign any of the joy axes to the zoom view! Even when I us the Zoom In/Out Key commands, the view recenters !! Whats the casue for this?!
