Hey guys,

Have just spent maybe two hours sorting out my hotas bindings...I am sick of SST! Anyway, when I cleared everything out of DCS to avoid conflicts I have removed the following command...I think when I have this, I am good to go. Jealous of all you "my warthog hotas doesn't require any setting up" people :D

Zoom in and out with mouse wheel..Is it an axis, or button, or what?

Thanks:)

Joystick help

Have a Saitek X-52 pro flight. How do I reprogram a joystick command by just highlighting what I want to porogram and hitting a button on my joystick. I have played this game 10 times now and I can only use guns. Can't get to a simple missle mode where I can select weapon and fire it. I go to edit joystick hit enter a long blue line shows up I hit enter and other keys and the line stays blue and I go nowhere. Thank you for your help.

On the controls page, you need to click in the grid cell for the control you want to assign. The rows list the control names, and there is a column for every controller you have connected. To assign a command to your HOTAS, make sure you click in the grid cell in the x52 column.

Then, press the ADD button and a dialog will open up. Press the button on the HOTAS you want to use, and it will be automatically selected in the dropdown list. Then just press OK.

I spent many hours refining this X52 Pro profile. I hope it helps.

It's a good thing that this is Early Access and we've all volunteered to help test and enhance this work in progress... despite the frustrations inherent in the task with even the simplest of software... otherwise people might not understand that this incredibly complex unfinished module is unfinished. /light-hearted sarcasm
