Looking for a good monitor to invest in for a three monitor setup. Don't want to spend more than 300 or so for each monitor. I found this on New Egg:

For those with experience in three monitor setups, is the bezel too big? I'll be using it for DCS A10C as well as Arma 2. In practice I'm not sure how one perceives the setup in action. Do you not notice the gap and the bezel size isn't as big a deal in action, or is it critical to have a real slim one.

If these are a bad choice, what would be better? I do like the 1ms rate and the 27" size on them. Good reviews as well. Feedback is appreciated.

I saw that monitor at Sams today. IMO, the bezel is too wide. That is a big monitor though. Three of them will take a lot of desk space. I also didnt like the lack of height adjustments. I need mine to be raised so i can fit underneath two 8" monitors as the MFDs.

Unless your playing FPS though, I wouldnt get caught up on the 1MS rating. That wont make much of a difference in flight sims.

I've been shopping for monitors for weeks now for a three monitor setup and its getting on my nerves. I can't pull the trigger on anything.

Well, too bad about the bezel information, I already pulled the trigger on three of them. I do also play FPS games on occasion like L4D2 and Arma 2. We shall see how they are, I'll have them on Wednesday.

I like this company Albatron and they have some of the hottest touch screens in the world. NO BEZELS. There now again a couple people in California that have been stocking their computer stuff again in the USA. I was a reseller of their stuff for awhile. When China was being provacative towrds Tiawan several companys there had thier exports slowed down and Albatron never really got a good grasp on the North American market.

Don't know your PC specs, but if you have ATI GPU's then CCC can use Bezel Compinsation, after a few uses you won't even notice the bezels...Good luck, Jim:thumbup:

I picked them up... pixel size seems a tad larger feeling than I am used to. I was using 1920 x 1200 on a 23", so upsizing to 27" and dropping to 1920 x 1080 will take a bit getting used to. The color isn't as deep as I hoped but, not a deal breaker. The bezels don't bother me now that I am set up. Problem is, I can't configure Nvidia Surround! Works great on desktop manipulating windows but all games default to using the center screen, left and right show the desktop background. I read something about some people not having the SLI configuration option in the control panel with the new drivers. That appears to be the case with mine, will have to check after classes tomorrow.

Love those no bezel monitors.

Okay, overall I am super happy. Took some finicking to get my Nvidia Surround to work, but now that it does it is awesome. Very immersive and I am very happy. I get decent frames with the landscape format, about 20 in the airfields or really heavy activity and 30 to 45 generally in the air. Pretty good for 6280 x 1080.

Yes that's an awful lot of extra x res for bezel compensation. LOL
