dooom Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 (edited) so i installed my new shiney 10" USB Mimo touch today. Everything worked fine until i tried to play either DCS Black Shark or FC2 Launcher program start fine enough and i get to the menu but when i try to spawn in, i get a crash with a "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" error and the sim crashes to debreif screen. I uninstalled the 10" and all its drivers and unplugged the USBs and voila... everything works again. Help? Is there some sort of order that things are supposed to be installed - do i have to change anything in the simulator settings/options if i want to run touchbuddy on the side? should i be playing in windowed mode? :helpsmilie::helpsmilie::helpsmilie: Edited January 21, 2011 by dooom ASUS Tuf Gaming Pro x570 / AMD Ryzen 7 5800X @ 3.8 / XFX Radeon 6900 XT / 64 GB DDR4 3200 "This was not in the Manual I did not read", cried the Noob" - BMBM, WWIIOL
dooom Posted January 21, 2011 Author Posted January 21, 2011 i only installed the Displaylink driver this time and it still is causing the runtime error. I tried running dxdiag and this too had the ms visual c++ error. when i tried to run the dxdiag again, it said it noticed that trying to access direct3d last time caused the error and asked if it should bypass. i bypassed and it ran.
