Anyone know if setting the MaxFPS on a server will limit the FPS on the clients? Or will it just update the screen slower on the server, allowing more CPU time for the server stuff? Just curious...

FPS on the clients can be higher than on the host... much higher ;)

it's more a problem of options that can't be overriden on the clients than an issue of limited fps on the server...

 

But a dedicated server would be such a wonderful improve...

agreed, a dedicated (no GFX) server option would rock... but if I limit the FPS on the server to something low, I am hoping that will give the CPU more time to do the "background" stufff of working out all the objects and what they are doing (creating less lag and stutters for the clients).
