darrenl
OK...looked through all the threads and didn't find this for beta 4. Just tried the Air to Air training mission and everything goes swimmingly until it asks me to acquire a lock on the first aircraft. I get the lock and then the instructor doesn't say anything once I do. I end of firing and still nothing. Wondering if this is a known issue or if I'm missing some step in the process. Thanks in advance. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Commonsense Gamer: Blogging on MMOs and other stuff too
EvilBivol-1
darrenl, if possible, could you try to fly the mission again and send a track? - EB [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Nothing is easy. darrenl
Dumb noob question, but how does one save a track on a training mission? There is no option to do so after you complete the mission. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Commonsense Gamer: Blogging on MMOs and other stuff too
EvilBivol-1
Sorry, should have thought of that. You can do it by opening the mission through the mission editor. - EB [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Nothing is easy. Everything takes much longer. darrenl
Here you go Evil. Notice that I did get a lock...for a good 10-20 seconds, but no further instruction from "the voice" ;)AA_Track.trk [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Commonsense Gamer: Blogging on MMOs and other stuff too
EvilBivol-1
Thanks darrenl. The issue was simply that the mission was looking for you to actually press the 'A' key to disable the AP, instead of pressing the AP button. I'll see if there is a better way to implement that step. - EB [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Nothing is easy. Everything takes much longer. darrenl
Cool...thanks Evil. I'll use the workaround of the "A" key in the meantime. Thanks for looking into this so promptly.
