zog Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 Hi all, Can't figure out why my 1.1 weapons (e.g. GBUs and AGM-62) don't have the super-detailed skins or models shown in the latest screenshots. Is this some type of mod? I assumed this was a feature of 1.1 I have the graphics options all set to HIGH in the options menu. My vcard is an FX5900 128. Do I need a better card? Or is it some other problem? Thanks in advance for any tips! :D

I think those skins that you see are either for the next patch or they were made by someone in teh community and you could probably download them and install using loman. some of my missile skins look bad aswell, i.e they still the same as previous versions of lockon. Some are extremely nice, others are ok and then we start hitting the bottom of the barrel and in there we find some weapon skins that are so bad they are laughable, Especially in a game of this calibre. I probably couldnt do better so it dont bother me because unless you play single player the chances are you wont get to see your payload on the majority of servers as they confine you to cockpit view. tbh I dont know if the 2 pics you posted of the missiles skins above are included in the game but some skins do look as nice as they do but just not them all.
