Whenever I try to start DCS up I get the error

"error loading module "edterrain" from C:/programfiles/steam/steamapps/common/dcsblackshark/bin/x86/stable/edterrain.dll

I have the steam version and I have reinstalled steam and my copy of windows vista. My computer meets the sys requirements and my graphics drivers are up to date. I dont know what to do. :( When I check the file location the file is there...

sorry to steal the thread but I am having same problem. I found the wiki, and neither suggestion helped. I uninstall and reinstalled the latest nVidia driver, and have a recent clean install of Windows 7, so I should have latest directx driver. I also d/l from steam, uninstalled and redownloaded three times now, no luck. Installed steam in is own folder, have avg but have turned off resident shield, no other firewall. I am including the dxdiag file.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

well, maybe fixed...all I did this time is install Lock On Platinum (LOMAC and FC2). Was going to uninstall Black Shark but thought I would try it one more time, and it worked!
